Why I Like ...

(a) the groceries

(b) the shopping. There is simply nothing here that one cannot buy. There is no farging way that I could possibly patronize all the shops and restaurants in a ten-mile radius of my house (which is out in the country and not near anything particularly interesting; it's not like I'm living in Manhattan, y'know?), even if money were no object. I am so completely not used to that.

(c) the music.

The weather seems kind of nice too, although the haziness worries me (I keep wanting to breathe on the skyline and wipe it off with my shirtsleeve!) and I wonder how cold it's going to get.

Sigh... I have met a man who isn't completely enamoured of TJ's.

Is it not a guy thing? They have a manly wine selection...

I am NOT going to click that link as I KNOW what it is going to be. "TJ'S come to my state!"

Have you stocked up on Method? ;-)

I hope your shipment shows up soon!

I keep picking Method up here and there, but I haven't gotten the entire line yet. What I do have includes the minty, blue window cleaner (it's so gorgeous I hate to use it, heh!) and the granite-countertop-cleaner which is also a pretty shade of black. They are such geniuses to package it like this! :) Next thing I need is the leather furniture spray, since I notice a kid dripped iced tea (or something like it) on the arm of the chair, yeesh.

I would love a Trader Joes

*pout*

We do have some cool Mennonite grocery stores though

Not the "Mennonite grocery store" where some Mennonites shop (full of scary but cheap processed food) but the ones run (at least in part) by Mennonites

They have yummy dirt cheap baked goods and great buys on bulk food

I remember seeing Mennonites shopping at Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania -- it seemed sort of incongruous to me. ;)

Betty - I lost your email address long, long ago. Where are you? If my guess is correct, I am within 20 miles of your right now.
