Penultimate, Perhaps?

My Internet was down since Saturday, so I'm way out of the loop on everyone's doings, so please forgive me, in advance, if I've missed something important (I'll catch up eventually, I promise!).

Anyways.

I finished up class (argh! not with a bang but with a whimper and a sleepless night grading finals which were so abysmally bad that I had to curve the living shit out of their scores to avoid failing 2/3 of the class) and turned everything in. I turned over my other job to ... um ... nobody, since the church decided to go with a volunteer (an as-yet-unnamed one, of course) rather than any of the TEN qualified candidates whose resumes I forwarded to the committee.

The car is en route to California. Before shipping it, I bug-bombed it, with amusing results. Who knew that there were at least eight under-bambuchas (I never did get the big 'un; I think he or she was canny enough to escape in time or has developed a resistance to bug spray), as well as probably fifty little underlings? Squick.

I did the big last-day-at-church thing, Sis is having her last sleepover with the neighbor, tonight we do the big goodbye dinner with the boys' dad and his family (at a restaurant I'm not fond of, but I didn't get to pick it, feh), and then today, the movers come for our second shipment, and we have to clear out of housing. After that, I'm supposed to go over a lesson plan with one of Mad's friends' moms, go to the gym, and remember to pick up our medical records and forward our mail, not to mention taking in the recycling for the last time.

I'm a little worried. We're definitely not ready for our inspection. There's too much undifferentiated crap lying around.

To that end, I need to go work on differentiating the crap.

I'll post after we get to the hotel, if I can.

And even people with clean cars have roaches! I've seen them in friends' almost-brand-new, never-eaten-in cars before ... squick ... but mine, which is more, um, lived-in, was doomed. ;)
