How annoying to pay them so much and them not even do the rest of the floors!!! That might peeve me enough to put in a call to the company and complain by the way...
Re: tipping. I have never tipped a housecleaner. Wasn't remotely aware that it might have been expected. NEver even occurred to me.
And while this should have no impact on your actual life -- and is obscenely self-absorbed of me -- for some stupid reason, I have been very sad and preoccupied about *your* leaving Hawaii! Like, it's my personal loss to work out?!? No clue why. You and the island just seem like such a great fit. So the countdown has been nibbling anxiously at a little corner of my spirit too. At least I can honestly say I feel for you, sweetie.
